Microbial inoculation to improve plant performance in mine?waste substrates: A test using pigeon pea (<i>Cajanus cajan</i>)

چکیده
Mining activities alter soil physicochemical and biological properties that are critical for plant establishment. Revitalisation of via microbial inoculations can potentially be adopted to improve vegetation restoration. Here, we evaluate the feasibility using beneficial microorganisms in form commercially available inoculants enhance performance a non-toxic infertile mine-waste substrate, pigeon pea [Cajanus cajan (L) Millsp.] as test plant. Six treatments were established investigate effects (Bradyrhizobium spp., mix uninoculated controls) water availability (low moderate) factorial design over 6 months. Plant was determined by physiological parameters (leaf gas exchange, leaf carbon, nitrogen stable isotopes) growth (height biomass). xylem sap phytohormones measured determine plants' status inoculation treatments. Results revealed had greater effect on than Inoculation treatments, however, improved some parameters. This study suggests physical conditions such moisture nutrient may occlude more subtle (direct or interactive) microbes condition. Prior knowledge amended, species-specific responses, would needed customise maximum benefits ecological restoration, support future adoption this practice.

Using contingency approach to improve firms’ financial performance forecasts
One of the challenging issues for investors and professionals is appropriate models to evaluate financial situation of the firms. In this regard, many models have been extracted by researchers using different financial ratios to resolve these issues. However, choosing a model based on the conditions and users’ needs is complex. The main objective of this study is to identify the effect of conti...
متن کاملBio-Management of Plant-Parasitic Nematodes in Pigeon Pea Field Crop Using Neem-Based Products and Manurial Treatments
A field plots experiment was carried to investigate the influence of soil applications of neem-based (Achook and Nimbidin) and crop fertilizer (urea and cattle manure) treatments, separately and in combination on free-living and plant-pathogenic nematode populations and crop productivity. Data regarding the results showed that all the treatments significantly decreased the number of plant-paras...

A field experiment was conducted to investigate the soil application of two Rhizobacteria, (MTCC and Pf-5) and urea treatments, separately and in combination on free living and plant parasitic nematodes. All the treatments significantly decreased the number of plant-parasitic nematodes with the increasing of plant growth. Both Rhizobacteria and urea were separately effective in suppressing plan...
